Ratnakshi Private Limited (“Ratnakshi”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates an online jewellery business offering ready-made and customised jewellery. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.ratnakshi.com (“Website”) and all purchases placed through our Website and assisted channels (WhatsApp/phone/consultation/in-person).

By accessing our Website or placing an order, you (“you”, “customer”) agree to these Terms.


1. General Terms

1.1 These Terms apply to all Website usage, account registration, product enquiries, purchases, customisation requests, and communications with Ratnakshi.
1.2 Ratnakshi Private Limited operates from New Delhi, India.
1.3 We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the Website/services implies acceptance of the updated Terms.


2. Eligibility

2.1 You must be 18 years or older to place an order.
2.2 You confirm that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and legally valid.


3. Products & Information

3.1 Ratnakshi offers:

  • Ready-made / in-stock jewellery

  • Made-to-order jewellery

  • Customised / personalised jewellery based on one-to-one consultations

3.2 Product images are for representation. Colour, texture, finish, and stone appearance may vary due to lighting, screen display, natural gemstone characteristics, and handcrafted processes.
3.3 Product descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change without prior notice.
3.4 If we detect an error in pricing or product information, we reserve the right to correct the error and cancel/refund any order placed under incorrect information.


4. Account Registration & Website Use

4.1 You may create an account to use features like login, saved addresses, order tracking, shopping cart, and (when applicable) loyalty points.
4.2 You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials and for activities under your account.
4.3 Misuse, fraud, or unlawful activity may result in account suspension and/or order cancellation.


5. Pricing & Payments

5.1 Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
5.2 Accepted payment methods may include UPI, net banking, cards, bank transfers, wallets, payment links, and cash for in-person orders (where applicable).
5.3 We reserve the right to refuse/cancel orders due to payment failure, suspicious activity, or policy violations.

Customised / Personalised Orders

5.4 A minimum 50% advance is required to initiate production for customised/personalised jewellery.
5.5 The remaining amount must be paid before dispatch/delivery.
5.6 Deposits/advances become non-refundable after design/CAD/final approval.


6. Order Processing & Delivery

6.1 Ready-made Products

Processing/dispatch timeline: 1–3 working days after order confirmation and payment verification.

6.2 Customised / Made-to-Order Jewellery

Production timelines vary by design complexity and gemstone availability. Estimated timelines are shared during consultation and confirmed after design approval.

6.3 Shipping within India

  • Free shipping across India

  • Estimated delivery: 5–12 working days after dispatch, depending on location and courier serviceability

6.4 International Shipping

  • Free international shipping for orders above INR 20,000

  • Orders below INR 20,000 may include shipping fees based on destination and courier rates.

6.5 Customs Duties & Taxes (International)

International customers are responsible for customs duties, VAT, import taxes, brokerage fees, and any local charges levied by the destination country.

6.6 Delays

Ratnakshi is not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, customs clearance, weather conditions, strikes, or unforeseen circumstances.

7. Customisation & Personalisation Policy

7.1 Customisation includes design alterations, resizing (on request), engraving, gemstone selection, metal choice, and bespoke creation.
7.2 You must approve final design mock-ups/CAD/renders before production begins.
7.3 After approval, no changes or cancellations can be made.
7.4 Handcrafted jewellery may show slight variations from digital previews; such variations are part of the making process and are not considered defects.
7.5 Customised/personalised items are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in cases of verified manufacturing defect or incorrect item received.


8. Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

8.1 Returns/Exchanges (Ready-made Items Only)

  • Eligible only if the product is unused, unworn, and returned in original packaging (with tags/labels intact if applicable).

  • Must be requested within 3 days (72 hours) of delivery.

  • Products with tampered tags, scratches, wear marks, dents, stone loss/damage, or signs of use are not eligible.

8.2 Non-returnable Items

  • Customised products

  • Personalised/engraved items

  • Final sale/clearance items (if marked)

8.3 Cancellations

  • Ready-made orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase only if not shipped.

  • Customised orders cannot be cancelled once design approval is given.

8.4 Damaged / Incorrect / Defective Items

If you receive an item that is damaged in transit, incorrect, or suspected to have a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 72 hours of delivery with photos/videos (unboxing video recommended) and retain original packaging until the issue is reviewed.

8.5 Refunds

Where refunds are applicable:

  • Refunds are initiated to the original payment method within 7–10 working days after the returned item is received and passes quality inspection/verification.

  • After initiation, banks/payment partners may take up to 10–12 working days to reflect the amount, depending on payment method.

9. Warranty & Authenticity

9.1 Ratnakshi jewellery is crafted using certified materials (metals, diamonds, gemstones) as per industry standards.
9.2 Certificates (where applicable) may be provided for diamond/gemstone products.
9.3 We provide a 6-month manufacturing defect warranty, which does not cover:

  • Normal wear & tear

  • Physical damage/impact

  • Stone loss due to impact

  • Misuse, mishandling, or improper storage

  • Water/chemical exposure


10. Intellectual Property

10.1 All Website content—designs, logos, text, graphics, product images, and creatives—is the exclusive property of Ratnakshi Private Limited.
10.2 Copying, reproducing, distributing, or unauthorised use is prohibited.


11. Privacy & Data Protection

11.1 We collect and process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian data protection laws.
11.2 Personal information (such as name, address, contact details, and order details) is used for account creation/login, shopping cart functionality, order processing, delivery, communication, customer support, loyalty points (when implemented), and improving customer experience.
11.3 We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share limited information with service providers (payment gateways, logistics partners, and technology providers) strictly to provide our services.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 Ratnakshi is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product use, Website usage, or services.
12.2 Jewellery is delicate; care responsibility lies with the customer once delivered.
12.3 Ratnakshi is not responsible for allergic reactions or sensitivity to metals or stones.


13. Force Majeure

Ratnakshi is not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, lockdowns, cyber-attacks, government restrictions, or courier delays.


14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Indian law. Courts of New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
